Cooking, Baking, and Building Confidence with Jeremy

Welcome to the All Areas Care and Support blog page, where we share stories that celebrate independence, learning, and joyful moments in our community.

24.6.25 – Savoury Mince & Lemon Biscuits

On Tuesday, Jeremy enjoyed a meaningful cooking session with the support of his support worker. Together, they prepared a hearty savoury mince, with Jeremy actively involved in every step — carefully chopping onions and capsicum, adding sweet corn, and browning the mince to perfection. 🧅🌽🫑

The session continued with baking lemon-flavoured biscuits, which Jeremy completed with pride and enthusiasm. Cooking and baking together provided an opportunity to develop skills, boost confidence, and share in the joy of creating delicious meals. Jeremy was thrilled to take the leftovers home to enjoy with his family.

1.7.25 – Chicken Sliders & Vanilla Biscuits

Just a week later, Jeremy’s culinary adventures continued with support worker Eric. He prepared chicken sliders from start to finish, demonstrating focus, care, and excitement throughout the process. The fun didn’t stop there — Jeremy also baked a batch of vanilla biscuits, which he proudly took home to share. Both the sliders and the biscuits were a delicious reward for a job well done!

These sessions highlight the power of hands-on activities in building independence, confidence, and life skills. At All Areas Care and Support, we celebrate each moment of learning, achievement, and joy with our participants.
